my goal was to create shapes with radio waves. I used after effects and illustrator for this assignment. I like how this turned out overall. I think some of the shapes I made looked cool.

my goal was to create a responding website. I got my template from w3layouts.com and I used dreamweaver to change it. I like how it turned out although this wasn't the original template I had chosen. The other two I liked weren't working when in design view. Since I don't know a lot about using dreamweaver, I went with this layout because it actually worked in design view.

My goal was to replicate a vintage artwork. I found this one while i was searching for vintage artworks and i really liked it.  I used illustrator to replicate the artwork. I think i did good on this assignment. The replica looks very similar to the original one and i really love how this turned out.

 My goal was to create a set of fonts. I used illustrator to create my fonts with some illustrator brushes i found. And i also used font creator. This wasn't the original design i was going for but the other one didn't really work out so i decided to do this one instead. But I really liked how this turned out in the end.

Mine was on killer whales and i added some interesting information that i found along with an illustration i made. I used illustrator to create the whale and fish illustrations and google slides to put the presentation together. I like how my illustration turned out and my overall info graphic as well.

For this assignment i was trying to accomplish a pop up gallery with my own illustrations. I used Illustrator to create some illustrations. After effects to put the gallery together and Premiere pro to add music. I liked how the gallery turned out, I spent a lot of time to make it look OK. Some of the pop ups seem to come out of nowhere so i kept going back to adjusts them but it didn't work on all pop ups for some reason. I think i did good, and i really like how my illustrations looked.

I was trying to accomplish a design that looked good since i needed to have the logo and the wagon incorporated in my design. For this assignment i used illustrator and In design to create my masthead and the newsletter. I liked how my masthead turned out. At the end i decided to add trees and i think that's my favorite part of the design.

I uses wordpress.com to create my website. I like how the overall look of my website, i had to play around with a lot of themes in order to find one that looked good, and was simple and easy to navigate.

My goal for this painting was to make it look nice without brush strokes. I used Photoshop to create my mixer brush painting. I had to play around with a lot of brushes in order to find one that didn't create visible brush strokes. But overall i really like how the rose turned out.

For this design my goal was to create multiple animated shapes. I used adobe after effects to create and animate the shapes and premiere pro to add the music. I like how my video turned out and i think i did good on it. I think i would only speed up the rotation on the shapes a little more.

    The goal for this assignment was to make create four game cards for "The Wall" I used adobe illustrator to create all four of my designs. I like the overall look of my designs, but i would change my card front design into something else. Its not exactly what i had in mind at first.

For my single color design i made a moon and a sun, with some cut out stars on the moon. And for my multi color design i did a Hawaiian flower. I used illustrator to make both of my designs. I really liked how my designs turned out on illustrator but not so much when they were printed. The cutter didn't cut my designs too well so i had to cut  most of it with an extractor knife. My moon had some text but it was too small and i couldn't cut it.

For this assignment I was just going for a simple eye sketch. Then I decided to add other features to make it look better. For this assignment I used Photoshop and the pen and tablet to draw. Since i was only doing a sketch, i liked how it turned out, i focused a lot more on the eye and added more detail, so the eye is my favorite part of the drawing.

For this logo, I was trying to accomplish something a bit different. When I went to the WACT webpage, I saw that they had several pictures of Tacoma and one where Mt. Rainier was showing. So for my design I wanted to add something else rather than just having the world, so I added Mt. Rainier so my logo had something that represented Tacoma/Washington. To create my logo I used adobe illustrator. Out of all my sketched designs I liked this one better and very happy with how it turned out. I think I did pretty well on creating this logo.

What were you trying to accomplish? For this assignment I was trying to place and find Photoshop brushes that related and went well with the image I was using and also to animate them. What technical skills did you use to create the project?   I used Photoshop to add the brushes, After Effects to animate the brush layers, and Adobe Premiere to add music to my video. How do you feel you did on the project? I think the overall video looked good and I think I did pretty well on it. I was thinking about choosing a different images because I couldn't find a lot of brushes that related to my subject (puppies). Most of the brushes I found were paws. I think the video could've looked better if I had different brushes like dog bones/toys. 

What were you trying to accomplish? I had never made a gif before, so i was trying to go for something simple that would be easy to make. My goal was to basically make the heart look like it was broken or cut in half.    What technical skills did you use to create the project? For this gif I used Photoshop brushes and Photoshop Timeline. How do you feel you did on the project? I think I did good on this project. It's very simple but I actually ended up liking how the gif turned out. 

My name is Juana Orozco, but my close friends and family usually call me Juanita. I'm a student at Pierce College and I'm currently working towards getting my  Associate in Digital Design . After I finish school I want to work as either a graphic designer or photographer. I like to paint and draw a lot. I love photography and I like to take pictures of nature, people, and of my dog. I usually spend my free time taking my dog out for walks and taking pictures of whatever I can find that looks cool. I like to use my mind and be creative, which is why I chose digital design as my career choice.
